On June 2 we are starting a summer-long journey through the book of Deuteronomy. This will be more of a summary look into the book of Deuteronomy as we strive to accomplish this one thing:
To deal honestly with our past so that we can freely move forward into God’s future.
I’m convinced that it is so important for us to be honest about where we’ve come from in order that we can truly accept where it is that God is taking us. I know that looking back may bring up regrets that you have for so long tried to keep hidden, never to think about them again so that you can just “move on.” But is it really possible to move on while you still have that regret that will pop up whenever it wants to?
What if God has something better? What if God wants us to deal with where we’ve come from so that we can accept and truly move forward into freedom? And then as we move forward, it’s not about moving forward into our plans. Rather, it’s about moving forward with God and his plans, trusting him with each step and turn along the way.
So don’t miss this series. I’m convinced that it’s going to be a beautifully challenging journey toward discovering more and more God’s plan for us.
Love you more than you know,
